Dichro Ribbon Twist Transparent 4.75" Glass Spoon Pipe - Pink Glass

A spoon hand pipe is one of the most common designs/shapes that pipes come in. The name gives it all away and they come in the form of an oversized spoon with a deep recessed bowl. This is an unbranded product so my research was scant but the design impressed me so I have included it. The Dichro ribbon twist is a point of difference that drew my eye. 

DICHRO TWIST? 

This pipe has been made entirely from durable borosilicate glass and a special process is used to create a dichroic effect. Dichroic glass is a type of coloured glass mixture which changes colour under certain lighting conditions. This effect is seen within the glass itself and has a slight iridescent look. In this particular pipe the entire glass is pink in colour with a dichro ribbon twisting around the main body . This ribbon is a deep blue/black with iridescent flecks all along - not shown in photo. 

Measuring: Just a touch over 12cms long. 

The recessed bowl is quite deep and the internal space beneath the bowl will act as a type of ash catcher possibly providing a smoother experience. Smoke will then pass through the neck portion before reaching the bulbous mouthpiece.
