WORMHOLE/MILKYWAY GLASS

Collectible art has always been something I am drawn to, and I tend to favour brands that incorporate art into their design. MilkyWay glass is one such brand with over 10 years of experience in (bong) glass making techniques including their signature sandblasting. Highly detailed glassware is their specialty (experts in graphical design) and according to their site their goal is to elicit “feelings” from the user, crafting sensory experiences for like minded folks.

Wormhole is a special sub-brand of Milkyway. It features a variety of beakers and dab rigs, all created with a particular vision. The designs are cartoon and anime inspired, and are applied using a high quality decal.

ROBO BEES ASH CATCHER

Ash catchers play a few roles; they extend the pathway that smoke travels through, cooling things down whilst helping to keep your glass bong cleaner for longer. Some allow for the addition of water and some don't. This is a dry ash catcher that sits in between a down stem and a flower bowl. It is made from borosilicate glass. Once lit, smoke will expand and accumulate within the ash catcher before contracting to enter a narrow passage for exit. Gravity will play a role, with the majority of gunk remaining within the ash catcher as lighter smoke rises up and out. The name gives the artwork away, a honeycomb design with a bee hybrid featured. 

There are 2 angles available - 45° or 90° and it is important to choose the correct one for stability and safety. Choose the 45° option if your down stem sits within the water chamber at a slant. The 90° variety works best with down stems that stand vertically. Your down stem will need to accept a 14mm male connection. A flower bowl is not provided and you will need to ensure a good fit. You will need a flower bowl with a male 14mm port. Lastly, I recommend using these ash catchers with bongs/bubblers on the larger side to avoid them tipping over. Anything 6" or above in height with a solid base should work.

Measuring: 10cms total height and around 7cms at the widest point.
