Most other bowls\/slides with have a small(ish) hole at the very base for smoke to pass through. Some of my customers like place a screen over this opening whilst others leave it as it comes. It all pretty much depends on how fine your grind is and how deep you inhale. As long as plant material stays within the bowl you are all good!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNo small opening at the base but there are 3 glass pinches\/rods that extend inwards, meeting at a point in the centre. A restriction is formed, enough to keep ash and plant material in place during your session whilst allowing air to flow through evenly. To one side there is a very thick and extended handle with a rounded off edge. A feature designed to keep you safe as you handle\/lift out the bowl. This bucket-style banger is deeper than most others that I currently stock enabling you to add larger amounts of concentrate within. The added depth also helps to keep the concentrate in the bucket where it belongs, lowering the amount that enters into the airpath and\/or joint connection. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI am a fan of a thick bottom, at least when talking bangers! A thick bottom enables you to reach and more importantly maintain your chosen temperature for longer. This is especially useful when dabbing at low temperatures. As a general rule, the more intricate a perc system the smoother\/cooler\/cleaner the experience will be. When buying a down stem there are a few things to consider. The angle of insertion. The size of your flower bowl connection. The size of the water pipe joint. Lastly, I would try to figure out my desired length of down stem. The stem should end somewhere in the mid portion of the water chamber and there should be some space underneath.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is quite a unique down stem. It can be lengthened or shortened to meet your specific size needs.
