GRAV 4" 14mm Male to Male Drop Down Gender Adapter

GENDER ADAPTER

Grav not only makes some pretty incredible glass pieces, but they also provide high-end glass accessories to change up/modify your existing water pipes/bongs. Accessories generally fall into a variety of sizes and are termed either “male or female”. It is important to know which ones refer to the specifications of your water pipe before purchasing accessories to ensure a proper fit. 

This borosilicate glass adapter is on the larger side (drop down) and it will allow you to change up the gender of the connection point within your bong. Basically a glass tube with protruding connection points (both male) on either end. Drop down adapters are a good option if you want to use high levels of heat (eg; dabbing) as they are designed to protect both you and your bong. 

I will try to keep it really simple. This adapter is for you if you require the following setup;

• You currently have bong with a down stem that only accepts male flower bowls that are 14mm in size. 
• You would like to use that same bong but you have a 14mm flower bowl (or banger) that is FEMALE in gender.
• In this adapter one end points down and the other straight up. Both ends are male and both ends will accept a 14mm connection. 
• One male side inserts directly into the bong with the other male connection port now exposed, pointing upright. You can now attach your female flower bowl and you are ready for use.
  

Measuring: 9cms total height and just under 4cms at it's widest point.

TIP: Due to the tube design this adapter will function somewhat as an ash catcher, helping to keep your water chamber cleaner for longer. But you will have to keep cleaning this adapter for it to function appropriately.
