MILKYWAY

Collectable art has always been something I am drawn to, and I tend to favour brands that incorporate art into their design. Milkyway is one such brand with over 10 years of experience in glass making techniques including their signature sandblasting. Highly detailed glassware is their speciality (experts in graphical design) and according to their site their goal is to elicit “feelings” from the user, crafting sensory experiences for like minded folks.

HASH RIG????

This is a rig that required some research, a unique rig setup designed to be used with hash, a compressed form of resin derived from cannabis flower. A dense and potent substance that is smoked/vaped in various methods and a little prep work may be required. This is a glass rig designed to be used specifically with hash and it functions almost identically to a standard bong.

TIP: This rig is designed specifically for hash. Not compatible with flower or wax concentrates.

The body is shaped like a column and is made entirely from borosilicate glass. 2 parts are included; the body and the lid. The body has a wide pedestal base and an extended bent straw-like mouthpiece. The interior is divided into 2 spaces, one above the other with smoke accumulating in the space at the top. 

The lid is where all the magic happens. A very thick and solid piece of glass with a small channel at the base. This is the "hash hanger", where the lit sliver of hash will reside within the rig. In a nutshell you will need to remove/chop a sliver of hash from your main block, roll it into a thin strip and insert it into the channel. Light the hash, blow out the flame and place the lid upon the egg. Marvel as the dense smoke builds and inhale at will. The hash should burn slowly, kind of like incense. With each inhalation smoke will be pulled down into the water chamber for filtration before it moves up towards your lips.

What exactly is hash?

Has is a concentrated form of cannabis made from the trichomes of a cannabis plant. Trichomes are the hairs/resin glands that are found on the leafs/stems/buds of certain plants that provide protection to the plant, allowing it to defend itself. The cannabis plant produces a vast array of trichomes and they play a very important role both for the plant and for humans. Think of a trichome like a factory that produces a wide range of cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids - compounds that produce therapeutic effects in mammals. 

How is hash extracted?

Hash is produced via a process called extraction. There are various techniques used, usually done mechanically or via chemicals. You can also use a method where you freeze cannabis flower to ultimately create bubble hash.

Mechanical methods (sifting etc) generally produce a fine power (kief) whilst butane and other substances can be used to create a thick waxy oil. Physical heat and/or pressure is then used to form hash into a block, ready for use. Blocks of hash come in a myriad of colours ranging from black to a very light shade of green. 

How to consume hash?

As with most forms of cannabis you can smoke, vape or eat hash. Please be careful whichever method you choose as hash is a concentrate and packs a punch. I would personally never recommend it for a newcomer. Hash is not the same as flower and you may need to do a little prep work to consume it. Many users like to mix hash in with other herbal materials and then either rolling it into a joint or filling their vape.

Same-Day Dispatch

We are committed to prompt service. All orders placed and paid for by 12:00 PM (midday AEST) on business days are dispatched the same day via Australia Post. Orders received after this cutoff will be shipped the next business day.​

All items are sent with with tracking and a signature will be required upon receiving the package.

Video Recording of the Packing Process

To uphold quality assurance and transparency, we video record the entire packing process for every order. This
includes documenting the condition of the items and the packaging before
handing them over to Australia Post. These recordings serve as a reference to
verify the condition of your order at the time of dispatch.

Eligibility for Returns


We accept returns under the following conditions:


• Timeframe: Returns must be initiated within 5 days of receiving your order.
• Product Condition: Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging, with the packaging in the same condition as when received.
• Proof of Purchase: A valid proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, order confirmation) is required.

Important Notes

• Change of Mind: Returns due to a change of mind are not accepted.
• Damaged or Faulty Items: If your item is damaged or faulty, please refer to our Handling Damaged Deliveries section.

Return Process

1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team within 5 days of receiving your order to initiate a return.
2. Return Authorization: Once your return is approved, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions on how to return the item.
3. Shipping: You are responsible for the cost of returning the item. We recommend using a trackable shipping service to ensure the item reaches us safely.
4. Inspection and Refund: Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 5 business days, provided all return conditions are met.

If you discover that your items are damaged upon opening:


1. Document the Damage:
o Take clear photographs of the damaged item(s), the packaging (including any visible damage), and the parcel label showing the tracking number.
o Retain all original packaging materials, as they may be required for the claim assessment.
2. Record the Unboxing:
o We highly recommend video recording the unboxing process. This documentation is crucial for any potential claims regarding damaged or missing items.
3. Lodge a Claim with Australia Post:
o As the recipient, you are required to lodge a claim directly with Australia Post for any damages incurred during transit.
o Visit your nearest Australia Post Office with the damaged item and original packaging to complete a damage report.
o Provide valid photo identification (e.g., driver's licence) to comply with Australia Post's privacy regulations.
o Request and complete the Green PM26 Form, ensuring you include the tracking number. This form links the claim to our account details, facilitating the refund process.
o Note: Only the person to whom the item is addressed can lodge the claim.
4. Provide Us with the Claim Reference:
o After lodging the claim, please send us the receipt and reference number provided by Australia Post. This will allow us to assist you in following up on the claim and provide any necessary support.

Please note that under Australian Consumer Law, consumers have the right to a remedy if a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or does not match the description. However, businesses are not required to accept returns for change of mind purchases. Legal Kitz
