MILKYWAY GLASS
Collectible art has always been something I am drawn to, and I tend to favour brands that incorporate art into their design. Milkyway is one such brand with over 10 years of experience in glass making techniques including their signature sandblasting. Highly detailed glassware is their specialty (experts in graphical design) and according to their site their goal is to elicit “feelings” from the user, crafting sensory experiences for like minded folks.
BIO-ID BEAKER BONG
This is easily the smallest beaker bong that I have seen from the glass masters over at Milkyway Glass. Petite is a good word to use. Milkyway loves a theme and this piece is from their Bio-Tech Range of water pipes, incorporating clear and sandblasted glass. The entire piece is made from 5m thick borosilicate glass shaped as a standard beaker wide a widened flat base and a slim neck.
Blue and pink accents have been used. The entire neck is sandblasted with a linear design providing a grippy surface and the mouthpiece is thicker and a little wider than the neck. The curvy down stem is fixed into position with small slits at the very end for diffusion. A flower bowl is provided, funnel in shape with a large capacity. A 14mm male bowl with a tab as a handle for safety.
TIP: A great option if you would also like to use it as a dab rig. Easily swap out the bowl for a banger and off you go.

Large of smaller bong - is there a difference?
Many of my customers specifically ask for smaller sized water pipes and discretion is generally the reason why. Times are changing (slowly) and there are so many gorgeous designs that are worthy of display. Some feel intimidated when they are presented with a larger sized bong and may question their lung capacity, a valid concern. All-in-all there are pros and cons to each size but I tend to recommend larges styles for my customers that cough or require extra levels of comfort with their draws. Increasing the travel time that smoke takes to reach your lips should result in a slightly lower temperature whilst a larger amount of water can produce deeper filtration.
