Pulsar Glass 3" Carb Cap and Dab Tool Stand with Colour Accents

I have stocked Pulsar for a while now with a variety of herbal vaporisers, one hitters and dab rigs on offer in my Bondi Vape Store. They appear to have been around for quite some time now and house over 1000 different products at their facility in North Carolina. Consummate vapers and smokers, they love to innovate and create products that exceed expectations.

Sometimes you need a product that is all about functionality, a simple piece that performs for you easing up your smoking/vaping rituals. Pulsar likes to help dabbers out, creating products to simplify the messy debacle that dabbing can become. For those unaware, dabbing is the consumption (inhalation) of extracted herbal concentrates. Thick and heavy oils that pack a mighty punch so please be careful if you are a beginner.
TIP: I personally have added this stand to my dabbing arsenal, and I am glad that I did.
Effective dabbing requires a tool kit of sorts. A banger, loading tool and a carb cap are 3 items that you must have in your kit and once again for the newcomers here is a quick breakdown of each;

• Banger – A deep bucket-style cone piece usually made from quartz. Your herbal wax/concentrate is placed (dabbed) within the bucket for heating. External flame is applied to the banger (pre or post loading) to heat the contents within. Sometimes a nail is used in place of a banger, same scenario slightly different usage.
• Loading Tool – Usually a long pen-style tool, some are double ended and some single. The purpose is simple, to move product from one place to another.
• Carb Cap – A myriad of styles/shapes are available all with the same function, to direct airflow within the banger whilst trapping heat within. Many carb caps are specifically designed to create greater turbulence within for very large hits! Again, please be careful.

All 3 of the above listed tools will get hot after usage. VERY HOT. This heat will take a while to dissipate so safe storage is kind of an imperative. This is where the little Pulsar Glass Dab Tool Stand comes in. A very basic design with one vertical large round tube and a slimmer tube extending out to the side. The base is very thick and wide, so everything stays upright, pretty important in this scenario.

The larger tube is a resting zone for your carb cap with an opening that measures at 17mm enabling most caps to fit easily upon the top. I place my cap upon the stand immediately after dabbing so it doesn’t mark my rug again! Carb caps are usually round and can roll away easily. The slimmer opening (8mm) is where you slot your loading tool and I instantly place it away after use as it will be sticky as well as very hot. As for your banger/nail I tend to leave mine attached to my rig till it cools down as I want to handle it as minimally as possible. Bangers are very easy to break so please leave them in place unless cleaning them. Banger stands are available for this purpose (see below).
Will this be the prettiest thing you own? Nup, but it will help you keep your possessions and you safe whilst you happily enjoy your herbal concentrates. Easy to use and more importantly easy to clean.
