Softglass Full Borosilicate Glass Tandem Incycler Dab Rig Kit

Softglass is an interesting name for a brand specialising in glassware used primarily for  smoking and I held off for a while whilst I spent time educating myself. The design element and ease of cleaning drew me towards this particular brand. Justin Cohen is the designer, an award winning industrial designer with a minimalist aesthetic. Designed and engineered in the USA. 

SOFT GLASS???

Soft Glass is also known as Soda Glass, think of a glass bottle as opposed to tougher Pyrex (Borosilicate glass). Both types are used extensively in many industries with soft glass dominating due to its affordability. 

Now I will confuse you, as Borosilicate Glass has been used to craft this Dab Rig along with Food Grade and Platinum Cured Silicone. As a Dab Rig it is important to use glass that can withstand high temperatures. 

TANDEM INCYCLER

An adorable dab rig! I love the shape, custom design and that it is modular. There are options available to change up either the silicone sleeves or the custom top (Ball Perc and Mason Percs) directly from the brand. I have chosen the Incyler top for this version. The whole rig will arrive disassembled and I put one together effortlessly and with no instructions.

Incycler? A specific form of Recycler. A 2 chamber system to filter smoke more than once with one chamber housed within the other. Incyclers help to lower the temperature for a smoother experience. 

Measuring: 21cms tall and 11cms at it's widest point (base).

There are 3 individual silicone parts that sit at the base, centre and mouthpiece. Each is quite thick/rigid providing protection, comfort or grip. You can clean this silicone in a dishwasher and it's pretty much indestructible. The third piece of silicone is a small insert for the mouthpiece. 

There are 4 individual Borosilicate glass portions with a silicone sleeve connecting the main body seamlessly.  The main body is made up of a base that acts as a water chamber and the Incycler top. The down stem (14mm) is fixed and it faces straight up in banger hanger style. The full weld Borosilicate (Quartz) glass Banger is frosted, deep and flat topped. A Bubble Carb Cap is also provided.
