Vitae Glass 18" Origin Water Pipe

It was 2015 and Gordon Loi started it all just because he wanted an easier way to clean his glass water pipes. He started designing and by 2017 the first prototype appeared. Fast forward 2 more years and Vitae Glass was born. Their premise is simple - to create a customisable and more importantly, easy to clean water pipe. Each design incorporates a threaded collar/connector ring (or multiple) that attaches the base to the neck seamlessly. On a side note, I have been trying for a few years to stock Vitae and I finally succeeded. Good thing I am stubborn!

18" (45CMS!) ORIGIN WATER PIPE

A rather large water pipe with a multitude of holes incorporated within the design. 5mm borosilicate glass has been used. Holes may sound scary but this is a fully functional water pipe and no water can escape. The holes create pathways through the glass like little tunnels that you can insert your fingers into. The 3 holes located along the neck are an ergonomic feature as you can use them to carry/handle this water pipe with extra safety. There is only one connector ring provided as there are 2 levels and once removed you can actually enter into the neck portion from 2 ends (top and bottom) and the water chamber from one wide opening. This really helps simplify the cleaning process of the intricate percolator within. 

TIP: Can be used as a dab rig if you have a banger!

Unlike other Vitae pieces, this water pipe has only one percolator within. The fixed down stem culminates in a Sphere Percolator that sits within the tube style water chamber. Think of a slightly squashed ball covered in many identically sized holes/openings. Smoke will pass via the down stem directly into the sphere before it is shot out through all these holes into water. This will dramatically break up smoke into smaller components for deeper and more effective filtration. 

The tunnels running through the glass within the water chamber will act as a splash guard whilst also increasing the travel time for smoke via restriction. Any increase in distance will help cool smoke down. The neck (Trio Mouthpiece) is basically a straight tube that provides a little more restriction via it's 3 glass tunnels and one last splash guard enabling you to inhale to the extreme if you so desire. 

A few extras are also provided. 3 foam lined storage boxes, each to hold a different part. You will want to keep these high quality boxes. 2 types of plugs are provided; cork cleaning plugs and wooden caps. Use the corks (x2) to plug up openings during cleaning whilst the wooden ones (x2) are for odour control during transport/storage.

A 14mm male flower bowl is provided, their signature Green leaf Funnel Bowl. Vitae makes truly beautiful works of art and I am so very proud to have them in store and I get a little sad when they leave.
