Softglass Totem Borosilicate Glass and Silicone Bong w/Case

Softglass is an interesting name for a brand specialising in glassware used primarily for  smoking and I held off for a while whilst I spent time educating myself. The design element and ease of cleaning drew me towards this particular brand. Justin Cohen is the designer, an award winning industrial designer with a minimalist aesthetic. Designed and engineered in the USA. 

SOFT GLASS???

Soft Glass is also known as Soda Glass, think of a glass bottle as opposed to tougher Pyrex (Borosilicate glass). Both types are used extensively in many industries with soft glass dominating due to its affordability. 

Now I will confuse you, as Borosilicate Glass has been used to craft this Bong, providing heat resistance and extra durability. 

TOTEM BONG

This is a deceptively simple water pipe that comes in a super cool carry case. The magnetised case is foam lined and comes with a thick lanyard. This lanyard is 17cms long and it can slip around your wrist for safe travels. As a modular bong it arrives disassembled into 4 parts, 3 glass potions and 1 silicone base. 

Measuring: Just under 20cms tall and 7cms at it's widest point (base). 

The silicone base is very solid and has been weighted to ensure stability and to help keep it upright. There is a removable glass down stem and bowl, both custom pieces and you may struggle replacing the down stem. This stem widens towards the top and it can accommodate a 14mm male flower bowl. The wide glass bowl provided is on the shorter side when compared to other 14mm bowls that I sell. Both are frosted for an airtight fit.
