WHAT AM I?

This is a travel pouch or a "Bum Bag" as they are known in Australia made from durable 1000D Poly Fabric and lined with activated carbon to capture odours within. The strap is adjustable and you can wear it in multiple ways. Discrete design with multiple zippered compartments offered. There is NO Lock provided with this option. Ongrok was first introduced to me via one of my helpful staff members, she was particularly excited when I arrived one morning, and we then spent the day ogling their catalogue. Designed in North America (AKA Canada) with what I would describe as a modern minimalistic flair. 

As for the name? Comes from the word “Grok”, a term used in Robert Heinlein’s novel – Stranger in a Strange Land. Definition? To understand something deeply, intuitively or by empathy. Which is exactly the philosophy Ongrok stands by!

WHY AM I SPECIAL?

The rise of medicinal marijuana in Australia has meant that certain accessories have become quite indispensable. Odour control is probably the biggest issue that many of my customers encounter, and I have tried to source many different products to help combat the problem. Appropriate storage is one area I have really focused on as I want to store my own medication in the best way possible.

Ongrok makes a variety of storage bags, and this is the Travel Pouch, a great option for travel. All their bags are designed to keep odours locked within and are water-resistant. 1000D Poly Fabric is used to craft their bags making them very durable and high quality. There is no Velcro of any sort and the specially designed zippers stop any odours from accidentally leaking out. The zippers are also waterproof and guaranteed by Ongrok.

The magic lies in the smell-proof, activated bamboo carbon lining. Activated bamboo carbon is the market’s best-performing material for the absorption of odours. It is gentler on delicate skin and performs better than other fabrics. The premise is quite simple; odours are absorbed within the “pores” of the carbon lining. They are captured in place. Over time the pores can become full, and a fantastic benefit of this bag is the ability to empty out the pores via heat (sun or the dryer) giving it a very long lifespan.

Those of you that have rocked a bum bag in the past will need no explanation so I will be brief. This pouch can be used in 2 ways; either slung over your shoulder or placed around your waist. Total discretion can be achieved when worn under clothing and for ease of use I would wear it over my clothes, the choice is yours. The strap is adjustable for a tighter/looser fit. The Travel Pouch is quite roomy  and it is also subdivided for those of you that like to stay organised, with the following zones:
