Marley Natural Black Walnut Large Rolling Tray

WHAT AM I?

This is the large tray (small is also available) and it is made entirely of black walnut wood. As the daughter of a carpenter I can attest to the incredible beauty of this type of wood. A simple tray with a smooth surface, raised walls, a notched corner along with a scraper tool that magnetises to the base. Marley Natural is a premium product line crafted with a genuine respect for nature, all products in their range are responsibly sourced. They are inspired by Jamaica and are the official Bob Marley brand, now run by his family. 

WHY AM I SPECIAL?

Black walnut is prized highly for its strength, grain and colour. It polishes to a very smooth finish and will develop a lustrous patina over time. Not surprising that Marley Natural chose this particular wood for all their accessories and for those of you worried about trees and the environment, they also ensure that the wood used is sustainably sourced. Teak oil has been used to seal the wood.

As rolling trays go this is a fairly basic one, a rectangle with raised flat edges all around. One corner is cut out enabling you to easily dispense your material. An angled wooden scraper is provided. The Marley Natural logo is etched on one side of this handy little scraper and a small round magnet is inset on the back. The same magnet can also be found on the base of the rolling tray enabling 2 functions. Either store your scraper away so you don’t lose it or as the scraper sits on an angle when you affix it beneath the tray you can create a slanted workspace. But you know what? This is seriously such a lust-worthy tray I can think of a myriad of uses that dont involve rolling at all.
