Ongrok Anodized Aluminum Metal Storage Jar - 14g/180ml Capacity

WHAT AM I?

A larger sized storage jar made from anodised aircraft grade aluminium in fancy metallic colours. A double ended jar with a threaded lid on either end. A jar that is airtight providing levels of odour control whilst also keeping light out. Durable and waterproof. Ongrok was first introduced to me via one of my helpful staff members, she was particularly excited when I arrived one morning, and we then spent the day ogling their catalogue. Designed in North America (AKA Canada) with what I would describe as a modern minimalistic flair. 

As for the name? Comes from the word “Grok”, a term used in Robert Heinlein’s novel – Stranger in a Strange Land. Definition? To understand something deeply, intuitively or by empathy. Which is exactly the philosophy Ongrok stands by!

WHY AM I SPECIAL?

Storage jar are for keeping your herbal medicine safe and potent. Light and air have a tendency to lower the efficacy of certain medications/herbs and medical marijuana is no exception. You experience is quite dependent on your storage regime and terpenes in particular will vastly diminish over time. Mould or overly dried material can also occur with improper storage. This is where an airtight metal container can shine. 

Anodised aluminium is a virtually indestructible material with aesthetic appeal. There are o-rings included lining the lids helping to keep the jars airtight and odours locked within. I personally love this dual lid design as it gives you options for use and simplifies cleaning. Each jar is designed to hold either 180ml of liquid or 14g of herbal material - quite a lot to store!
