Grav Sip Series 4.25" Coffee Mug Pocket Bubbler - Smoked Glass

Grav Labs, hands down are the masters of glass, scientific producers of glass if you will. A global reputation that is hard to surpass. Built to last, highly functional and as gorgeous as glass can get. Those in the know only and always use Grav glass.

When Grav makes a water pipe/dab rig they know what they are doing. Built strong for a smooth and easy session. Oh, and so they don’t break easily either. SIP SERIES

Grav likes to make groups of products that are based around a central theme. In this case Grav has developed their “Sip Series” of glass bubblers. In case the name doesn’t give it away I guess they are referring to a variety of drinking vessels. This is my fifth foray into the Sip Series (check out the Milk Carton and Martini Shaker), and I hope to further expand my range soon. They has been designed by the infamous glass artist Micah Evans. I checked out his site and he can do some pretty impressive things with glass. You should have a look too, he is amazing.

The Grav Coffee Cup Pocket Bubbler stands at just over 4.25” tall (10.8cms) at its highest point and it is crafted to resemble an actual (sealed) coffee mug, complete with a handle. There is also a larger version available at times. Like in most bubblers, the flower bowl is located at the very top of the "cup" design with the fixed down stem extending straight down below.  A diffusion down stem with 2 holes breaking down smoke. These holes are made in a unique way so that they don’t clog up, Grav uses a tungsten rod (while the glass is still hot) to create the holes. This process in turn leaves behind smooth edges.

The base is flat and a little thickened for stability. The mouthpiece is a protruding glass straw that angles slightly to help avoid splash back. This straw is quite long and narrow and measures approximately 6cms. There is a rather roomy water chamber enabling you to set the water level at your preference, but as per usual I will recommend a few practice inhales at full inhalation capacity to test before lighting/loading any material.

A simple and small 10mm cup bowl (male) is provided. A great size for solo sessions or smaller hits. Frosting has been used for airtight connections.
